Quantity surveyor - civil

TRS Staffing Solutions, in collaboration with Fluor, a global leader in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS). As a QS, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial feasibility studies for development projects.
• Perform cost estimation, cost planning, and cost management.
• Analyze terms and conditions in contracts.
• Predict potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Forecast costs of materials needed for projects.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and other documentation.
• Monitor and adjust budgets based on project changes.
• Manage tender processes, including preparation of bills of quantities and contract conditions.
• Provide contract management and contractual advice.
• Conduct valuation of construction work.
• Handle claims and dispute management.
• Perform lifecycle costing analysis.
• Conduct reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes.

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of construction costs and contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant construction management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
