We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scaffolding Supervisor who will join our client's ICR revamp project at the refinery in Lysekil. The project involves the conversion of the IsoCracker plant to produce renewable aviation fuel (biojet/SAF) and renewable diesel.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Coordination:
- Oversee the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
- Coordinate with other supervisors and project managers to align scaffolding activities with project timelines and objectives.
- Ensure all scaffolding work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Safety and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain safety standards as per OSHA and local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure all scaffolding work complies with industry standards and project specifications.
Team Management:
- Train and supervise scaffolding teams to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Allocate tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Address any issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Quality Control:
- Inspect scaffolding materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, and maintenance work.
- Resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Inventory and Equipment Management:
- Manage inventory of scaffolding materials.
- Order new materials and equipment as needed.
- Ensure the proper and safe usage of all scaffolding equipment.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management or a related field is beneficial.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in scaffolding within the construction or petrochemical industry.
- Proven track record of supervisory roles or team management.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISRS Scaffolding Supervisor/Manager Training, OSHA Construction Safety, or equivalent.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
