Role
Our Client is looking for a motivated Package Engineer E&I to work on a major Rare Earths project. Perth based position!
- Assist development control of the schedule, monitor progress and report on assigned area.
- Scope control and trending of scope changes, supporting management of change function for their area.
- Support the client in terms of package design, construction sequence, scope, and commercial structure.
- Assist with project co-ordination (between site teams, functions, contractors, vendors, etc.)
Required Competencies / Skills
- Experience with procurement, manufacture, testing and delivery of heavy industrial mechanical equipment.
- Experience in coordinating heavy industry construction contracts – Greenfield and/or brownfields.
- Capability to work in a large collaborative team environment to drive a project to conclusion.
- The ability for collaborative engagement of functional groups and other stakeholders to achieve the project goals.
- Communication effectiveness using various mediums to deliver a variety of information and messages.
- Relationship management in a challenging and complex environment.
- Prior experience dealing with High voltage cables and switchgears, Transformers, Transportable Switchrooms, Variable Speed drives, Standby Diesel Generators.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in engineering (Electrical)
Experience
Five to ten years of experience in mining industry project execution (large to major projects).
