Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We’re seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our client’s Saskatoon team. Our client is a major player in the geotechnical consulting industry with a strong presence all throughout Canada. In this role the candidate will provide leadership and technical support on all projects, identify new opportunities for the branch, and assist in the preparation of proposals.
 
Responsibilities: 

• Offer guidance and assistance in preparing cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documents, client reports, progress updates, and project schedules, ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to.
• Build and maintain client relationships, mentor and train team members, and advocate for the client's mission, vision, and values.
• Define project scopes, aid in proposal creation, oversee projects, and lead diverse teams
• Engage in field activities as required, travel to project sites, client offices, and other branches

Qualifications: 

• Post-secondary program in Civil or Geological Engineering; Graduate Degree preferred
• Relevant experience in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering, preferably local Canadian experience.
• Specialized experience in foundation analysis and design, dams, tailings, or terrain analysis are assets
• Class 5 Driver's license; comfortable driving mid to full-sized pickup trucks in various environments
