TRS is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading oil and gas technology licensor. Our client provides comprehensive solutions, including the conversion of oil and biomass into cleaner fuels, the production and purification of major petrochemical intermediates, chemical recycling of plastics, natural gas treatment, and carbon capture. Their portfolio encompasses cutting-edge technologies, equipment, furnaces, modular units, catalysts, adsorbents, and related services.
As a Senior Process Engineer within the Process Department, you will contribute to basic engineering projects and modular unit development for our valued customers. Here are the key responsibilities:

Supervision and Management:
- Oversee and manage the Process team’s work on license or module projects.
- Participate in the development of Process Books, including designing equipment and preparing specifications for vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, air coolers, and heaters.

Thermal Rating and Training:
- Develop thermal ratings for heat exchange equipment (heat exchangers and air coolers).
- Train and coach Process Engineers to enhance their skills.

Collaboration and Coordination:
- Coordinate activities with other departments, including Drafting, Engineering, and Project teams.
- Ensure effective project follow-up with D.E.C. (Design, Engineering, and Construction) and E.P.C. (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), including thorough review of engineering documents.

Client Engagement:
- Participate in client meetings, covering topics such as PFD (Process Flow Diagram) and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) reviews, HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), SIL (Safety Integrity Level) reviews, and 3D model assessments.

Special Assignments:
- Seize the opportunity to participate in unit start-ups and other special assignments with the Technical Service Department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in chemical or process engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience within an engineering company, refining, petrochemical, gas industry, or chemical/biochemical sectors.
- Successful track record in team management for projects.
- Proficiency in process modeling using chemical engineering software (e.g., Pro II, Hysys).
- Experience with equipment specification (pumps, compressors, drums), process flow diagrams, P&IDs, thermal rating (using HTRI software), and process control and safety.
- Additional experience in unit operations support is advantageous.
- Fluent English communication skills; proficiency in other languages is appreciated.
- Curious, open-minded, and motivated to work in an international environment.
- Adaptability to collaborative and multicultural organizational settings.
