Senior Project Manager

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to work for a multinational client’s Vancouver, BC office.

Job Requirements
• Develop, monitor, and control work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project stages
• Develop an extensive work plan for all engineering disciplines
• Manage and coach a team of architects and engineers in the quality assurance and quality control procedures
• Ensure a good understanding of the project scope and negotiate solutions
• Coordinate with contractor, sub-consultants to address and document issues with owner concerns
• Liaise with the client and ensure client relationships are maintained

Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• 10 years as a Senior PM within the heavy civil construction sector, ideally with utilities, water and wastewater.
• Experience in strategic development, business development, project management, and client management is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly identify and articulate issues.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
• Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and resourcefulness
• Strong understanding of the project cycle and expertise in Contract negotiations, change orders, client management
