DURATION: CONTRACT (12 MONTHS)

"Our client specializing in EPCm & Infrastructure Projects is seeking a SENIOR RESIDENT ENGINEER – ROADS with a minimum of 15 years of experience to oversee and managing road construction projects based in KWAZULU-NATAL."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for overseeing and managing road construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance, impart knowledge, and transfer skills to junior engineers and other team members.
- Assist in resolving contractual issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations and contractual obligations.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of road construction projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in civil engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Registered Engineer (ECSA)
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in road construction and project management.
- Proven experience in skill transfer and team development.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
