Client’s brief:
An opportunity to work with an American international technical professional services firm. The company provides technical, professional and construction services, as well as scientific and specialty consulting for a broad range of clients globally, including companies, organizations, and government agencies. The company is publicly traded as a Fortune 500 company.
Job description:
- Minimum 15-25 years of experience in Quality Control activities – Third Party inspection / Shop inspection / Site Quality inspection
- Minimum ASNT Level II in RT / UT / PT / MT
- Well versed with QA / QC Documentation
- Knowledge in international Codes and Standards such as ASME / EN / API
- Knowledge in welding activities such as WPS / PQR / WPQ
- Good communication & interpersonal Skills
- Coordination with vendors and project team
- Carry out Shop inspection / Site inspection
- Supplier Pre-Qualification
- Set detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and what the quality standards are
- Update our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes and improvements
- Audit our systems based on ISO 9001:2015 requirements
- Determine quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures
- Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance
Education: B. Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production Engineering
