Director of Survey & Mapping

We currently seek a Director of Survey & Mapping for an opportunity within our client’s team of experienced professionals. This is a DIRECT HIRE position, based in Foothill Ranch, CA

Job Summary:
The successful candidate must be eager and able to grow a full-service surveying operation in the Orange County office with support from the Corona office during the initial stages of development. Candidate will be overseeing current Mapping/Surveying department and must be willing to build/grow the department further. The intent is for this individual to build out the team and own the entire operation out of the Orange County office.

Required

• 10+years of experience in So. Calif

• Boundary analysis

• Subdivision mapping

• Supervision of field crews

• Legal descriptions

• Licensed land surveyor/PLS (CA)

• Project management

• Proposal writing and budgeting

• Job cost monitoring

• Billing

• Client relations
