We currently seek a high caliber Marketing Manager for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Tustin, CA with occasional travel throughout Los Angeles, CA.
Job Requirements
Serve as a salaried full-time MARKETING MANAGER under the direction of the Executive Director. The Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Executive Director will be involved in setting goals and shaping the specifics of the position. With the full help of the Association, enhance the overall services provided to Membership. All duties will be performed with the goal of advancing the program services offered to member contractors and Associate & Affiliate members.
Education – Develop and execute strategies, content, and plans to educate the industry about the association.
Social Media
Maintain and enhance all social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
Strategically develop and execute marketing campaigns and content
Event Planning – Planning, organizing and successfully executing association events; managing all aspects of event logistics.
Managing budget, sourcing vendors, creating all marketing materials, managing registration and attendance, maintaining relationship with event staff
Website
Enhance and optimize website
Marketing Materials – gather content/stories for all marketing materials, distribute to membership, update as needed

Quarterly Newsletter
Brochures
Labor Management
Email Bulletins – creation and distribution of association bulletins
Industry Notices
Political Action
Communication
General:
Industry Notices
Political Action
Union:
Marketing Local Union Events (Picnics, Graduations, Golf Outings,
Fundraisers)
Coordinating donations to union events
Apprenticeship:
Market key events (Apprenticeship Competition, new classes, key announcements)
Ticket Management/Distribution
Assist in managing and distributing tickets for:
Crypto Arena
LA Dodgers
Sofi Stadium – Football
Anaheim Angels
University of Southern California – Football
Associates/Affiliates – Serve as the main liaison for Associates/Affiliates.
Explore options for enhanced Associate and Affiliate programs and events.
Continue to grow the number of Associates and Affiliates.
Assist in Marketing Campaign Programs
Engage the Rank and File
Non-Signatory Employer recruitment
Increase member involvement in association direction and development
Regular member surveys
Work with labor partners at select legislative and political events
Coordinate City of Los Angeles legislative involvement with labor lobby efforts
Increase management visibility and voice at city council Prevailing Wage mtngs.
Qualifications:
Motivated self-starter who will achieve work objectives and strive for continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
Superior organizational skills with great attention to detail
Capacity to multi-task assertively in a fast-paced environment
Capable of prioritizing efficiently and adhering to strict deadlines
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interact with various levels of labor and management
Ability to independently identify problems and propose effective solutions
Must maintain strict confidentiality in performing member-specific and company-specific duties
Bachelor’s Degree
Computer literate with extensive experience in multiple software packages.
Ability to perform duties after hours with occasional single-day and multi-day travel required (weekday and weekends)
