Our client specializes in large, complex steel fabrications within the defense industry, and they are seeking a Materials Coordinator to join their team in Ladson, SC.

Responsibilities
Coordinates and expedites flow of parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to manufacturing department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records.

Organization of shop orders to be kitted.
Kitting shop orders for “on time start” via BOM.
Priority established by FAB “on time start”.
Material retrieval from receiving and primary operations.
ERP accuracy and maintenance within kitting.
Issuing of materials per shop order.
Kitting organization and maintenance in the kitting area.
The quarterly cycle counts on primary and component parts.
Job pack assembly and distribution to the processing area.
Entering completed shop orders into ERP system.
All other duties as assigned
