The Project Engineer is responsible for the completion of assigned engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project operations. Ensure on-schedule and within-budget completion of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Distribute and file drawings, specifications, and vendor information, and expedite materials and field records.
  • Serve as a liaison between the engineering department and the jobsite.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications as required.
  • Administer the jobsite quality control program.
  • Oversee subcontractors’ scope, quality control, progress, and payment approval.
  • Schedule and establish jobsite liaison for equipment erectors and control of vendor service engineers.
  • Initiate and document back charges to vendors.
  • Approve and process all extra-work orders.
  • Take an active role in job safety.
  • Function in other supervisory capacities as required and directed by the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 
  • 10+ years experience of project engineering in downstream refining, carbon capture specific project experience is highly preferred
  • EPC project engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management.
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and safety regulations.
