Solar Residential Account Manager

We are currently seeking a Solar Residential Account Manager on a hybrid basis for our client’s expanding team in Los Angeles. In this direct hire role, you will drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and help homeowners transition to clean energy solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with a passion for renewable energy and a proven track record in sales. The company is a trailblazer in residential and commercial PV and BESS that works closely with owners, developers, architects, and general contractors to deliver customized solutions. You will consult with homeowners to assess their energy needs and recommend customized solar and battery solutions. Additionally, you will analyze home configurations and utility data to propose optimized energy solutions.

Job Requirements:
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales quotas.
  • Respond to inbound leads and proactively generate new leads through networking, existing customer engagement, and outbound marketing efforts such as canvassing.
  • Consult with homeowners to assess their energy needs and recommend customized solar and battery solutions.
  • Analyze home configurations and utility data to propose optimized energy solutions.
  • Perform site assessments in collaboration with project engineers.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales agreements.
  • Manage customer relationships and track progress within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Engineers, Project Coordinators, and Project Managers) to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Passionate about renewable energy and aligned with core values and mission of company.
  • Sales-driven mindset, preferably with experience in solar, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Tech-savvy – proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM platforms. Experience with Helioscope, Energy Toolbase, and financial modeling tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable working on-site – must be able to climb ladders and conduct site assessments.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
