TRS Craft Services is hiring for Trim Press Operators located on the Southeast side of Houston!

Trim Press Operator

This position is responsible for operating the trim press in a safe and effective manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operates trim press in forge shop in safe and effective manner
• Follows quality requirements of the part
• Must be able to meet requirements of parts being pressed
• Reviews and interprets paperwork in relation to operating trim press for parts
• Keeps work area clean and organized
• Keeps pace with press operator to avoid production delays
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Support and/or participate in the organization’s Continuous Improvement Programs
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
• Basic mechanical understanding
• Basic safety requirements as related to production environment
• Knowledge in forging industry a plus

Education and/or Experience
• HS Diploma preferred, but not required
• Experience in forging industry a plus

Physical Requirements
• Standing, bending, sitting, lifting up to 30-50#, squatting and walking for 8 to 12 hours per day.
• Must have good eye sight or must wear corrective lenses
• Must be able to work in a hot environment
• Exposure to Production Environment on a daily basis.

Forge entry level position, starting pay $13 per hour, plus a $1 differential for the 2nd shift.
1st shift - Mon-Fri 5am-5pm and Sat 5am-3pm
2nd shift – Mon-Fri 5pm-5am and Sat 3pm-1am
