Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

The Role:
My client has numerous opportunities for Asbestos Surveyors/ Analysts based at site in Dumfriesshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading Consultancy in the Nuclear industry. The successful Asbestos Surveyors will be BOHS P402 qualified to work on Commercial / industrial surveys and they must be able to conduct Commercial and Industrial Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys. You would be working within a team and working alone completing asbestos survey reports using a tablet-based system.

Responsibilities:
Survey and re-inspections programmes and ensuring the asbestos register is kept up to date
Responsibility for client interaction/meetings
Responsibility for submission of staff timesheets and invoicing
Attending regular department meetings and providing and ensuring progress updates
Assisting the Site Manager in their duties when required

Skills Required:
Significant proven experience
Proven experience working on large industrial management surveys (refurbishment and demolition survey experience an advantage)
Proven experience of technical review of asbestos reports and air monitoring documentation
As a minimum applicant should possess BOHS P402, P403 and P404 or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of CAR 2012 and the management of asbestos in buildings
An ability to work flexibly to the needs of the business
IOSH managing safely an advantage
Experience producing risk assessments and method statements
Good health and safety knowledge
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Industrial sites and standard safety protocol
Full, clean driving license
