Our client is an internationally recognized leader in precision metal stamping, injection molding, value-added assembly solutions and tooling.
They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Greater Chicago, IL area where they are pushing the boundaries of manufacturing technology.
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL (Local candidates Only – No relocation assistance available)
Industry: Manufacturing
Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent
Pay: $120,000-130,000 plus commission
Summary:
You will be responsible for the promotion and sales of all products and services in metal stamping. The Business Development Manager must be dynamic, and results driven to drive new business opportunities while managing key client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets (industrial, aerospace and defense, medical, and computer electronics)
- Leverage a deep understanding of manufacturing capabilities to provide solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients' projects.
- Conduct thorough research to identify new market opportunities and understand competitive landscapes, targeting regions and clients for growth.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, supporting the sales team with lead development and nurturing efforts.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers’ sourcing groups to win existing production parts and increase production volume.
Requirements:
- An associate degree, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 5 -10 years of experience with metal stampings. Automotive is a plus.
- Strong networking skills. Knows how to locate and connect with decision makers.
- Strong sales skills. A proven “hunter”, who is comfortable in the role every day.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Organized, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in a CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Extensive Travel (+50%) is Expected
