Summary
This position conducts work directly related to management or general business operations in an organization or functional area. The work requires advanced knowledge gained from a prolonged course of specialized instruction, experience, and expertise. The position includes work requiring the consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
Scope
This position develops new and existing client opportunities for a small geographic area and builds relationships with clients. The role requires making business decisions to bring profit focused, long-term business onboard. The individual must be professional, reliable, revenue driven, ethical, and team player. Responsible for following corporate direction when given and providing self-direction when needed to meet sales goals set forth by TRS management.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Develop new client relationships (non-Fluor) for region
· Develop new national client relationships (non-Fluor) nationally
· Maximizing TRS’ relationship with Fluor to leverage outside sales for region and nation
· Determine appropriate trade shows to participate in, organize the TRS event, and attend show as main contact to generate sales leads
· Meet annual sales revenue goals set forth by TRS management
· Arrive at accurate and competitive markups for technical and clerical contract employees in tandem with manager
· Arrive at accurate and competitive Direct Placement Fee Schedule for new clients, in tandem with manager
· Prepare/negotiate Commercial Client Contract for new clients
· Coordinate Commercial Client Contract execution among TRS Legal, new client, and TRS Management Prepare staff augmentation proposals for prospective new clients
· Present proposals to prospective new clients
· Serve as the account representative for all new clients to ensure client satisfaction and to address client concerns
· Coordinate resume submission between TRS Staffing Consultants and clients
· Prepare and submit of monthly status report to manager
· Maintain knowledge of safety policies and procedures and perform assigned duties in a safe manner; encourage co-workers to comply with established safety policies and procedures and to practice safe work habits
· Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
· Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
· Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
· Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
· Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
· Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
· May need to travel to attend to business related matters
· Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills
· Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and three (3) years* of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to seven (7) years* if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
· Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
· Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
· Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
· Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills
· Experience recruiting both contract and regular technical personnel
· Experience in the engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and construction management (EPFC/CM) sector preferred
· Experience with client account management
· Strong business acumen
· Strong experience gathering job order requirements from clients
· Solid understanding of engineering technology, terms, and terminology
· Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external contracts
· Solid verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
· Exceptional at client/candidate relationship building
· Strong organization skills as well as a highly motivated, self-starting, detail oriented individual who can perform to high standards
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong determination for filling client and candidate obligations
· Must have strong character and integrity
· Solid working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and an automated recruitment tool or database
