DISCIPLINE: CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
LOCATION: FIJI ISLANDS
DURATION: PERMANENT
SALARY: MARKET RELATED

“TRS has a high-end level international role for an experienced Construction Manager to be based at Boila Circle, Kalabo Industrial Estate, Valelevu, Fiji Islands.”
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and work timetables.
• Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals.
• Report work progress and budget matters to management and clients.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other construction specialists.
• Identifying and selecting subcontractors and scheduling and coordinating their activities to ensure quality standards are met.
• Respond to work delays, emergencies and other construction problems.
• Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes and other related construction regulations.
• Create and manage the budgets of each project, including supplies, materials and labour.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed on all job sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & BENEFITS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in new construction and in a supervisory capacity.
• Some experience with remodeling projects preferred...
