Construction Project Manager

We urgently require a Construction Project Manager for our client based in the Surrey area
Qualifications and Experience
• National Diploma/Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 20 years’ experience in construction management in the UK
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Ideally located near Culham to work with project partners in detailed design and execution
• Contracting experience working with United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority and public/private partnerships
• Deep working knowledge of the application of Construction Design and Management Regulations in the UK and their application to Shell & Core and Fit-Out project phases
• Experience with construction of commercial and industrial buildings • Project execution strategy and planning skills • Experience in the EPC/EPCM construction environment
• Demonstrated health and safety management focus in the construction phase of project delivery, and extensive knowledge of health and safety management procedures, safe work practices, and applicable legislation
• Strong leadership skills, the ability to lead a team and fit into a team environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Effective report writing skills, planning and organizational skills
• Well-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate directly with the client on key issues
• Extensive knowledge of all phases of construction operations relating to field activities of all engineering disciplines, construction and maintenance practices, procedures and techniques, and applicable codes and standards
• Familiarity with a wide range of equipment, tools, and technologies used in construction
