Job Details
A great opportunity to work for one of the World’s most admired MNC EPC company based in their India office in the Mumbai. They are dealing in EPC / EPCIC in onshore and offshore projects.
The right candidate will speak fluent English, have the right to work in the India and have a minimum of 20+ years’ experience in Contract Management of offshore wind. He has executed project for offshore wind or offshore projects worth 1000 crores of value.
Brief Description
Contract Manager would take lead in implementing EPC/Group Projects. Having experience in EPC organization, preferably in Oil & Gas (Offshore) of which at least 5 years as Contracts head handling multiple projects (onshore / offshore).
The major responsibilities are:
• Ensure adherence to established strong contracts management system with objective of protecting company’s interest in line with rules / regulations.
• Ensure adherence to established contracts management procedures
• Review and analyse tender documents from commercial and contractual point of view (Salient conditions, list of clarifications, exceptions and deviations, risk identification and assessment)
• Prepare proposed risk mitigation plan from contractual point of view
• Analyse reasons for delays and disruptions, identify client related reasons and issue notification and change orders to the client in consultation with the Project Manager
• Effectively lead the contract management team
• Ensure updated SOPs and compliance
• Taxation Plan/ Advice
• Address & Clarify Queries
• Assessment of Commercial Implications
• Contractual Opinions
• Insurance Advice
• Legal opinions
• Letters to stakeholders protecting our interests
• Provide inputs on local tax laws, IMPEX, INCOTERMS, FIDIC etc. to the Project Manager
• Obtain validation on legal review from Legal function
Qualifications
You must be able to demonstrate and evidence the following:
• B.E/ B.Tech in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Civil / and Course/Degree in Management / Law
• M.E / M.Tech in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Civil / and Course/Degree in Degree in Management / Law
• Experience of Project Structuring & Legal Documentation
• Good working knowledge of Direct/ Indirect Taxation
• Handled Insurance Claims
• Experience of Claims Management
