Responsibilities:
- Uphold consistency in cost control function following AMS procedures and promote standardized systems.
- Foster a culture of continual improvement and readiness to take on additional duties.
- Liaise with clients to manage commercial processes, clarifications, and disputes.
- Review cash conversion cycle, perform root cause analysis on delays, and monitor project cost control.
- Manage risk by identifying shortfalls and strategizing for optimization.
- Utilize systems for claims, payroll, cost tracking, and support process improvements.
- Perform quality assurance over payroll and timekeeping data.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing cost and revenue accruals and analyze cost performance of projects/contracts.
- Advise on sub-margin analysis against budgets and forecasts and assist in preparing forecasts.
- Facilitate invoicing and cash recovery, review balance sheet accounts, and ensure ERP transactions comply with Accounting Standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Possesses credentials in the fields of Accounting or Cost Engineering.
- Proficient in utilizing corporate ERP systems and adept at analyzing extensive datasets.
- Has hands-on experience in cost control involving a range of contracts and projects.
- Demonstrates a proven track record in managing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Possesses superior communication skills.
- Exhibits proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI is considered an asset.
- Exhibits strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
