For one of our global leading EPC clients we are looking for an E&I Superintendent, who is the key person responsible for supervising electrical and instrumentation installations on the project site. This person coordinates the team’s activities, ensuring that all work is performed according to plan, budget, and safety standards.
The project in Boden (Sweden), which our client oversees, is a pioneering venture in steel production using renewable hydrogen. It is the first installation of its kind in the world, making work at this position particularly interesting and demanding.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction.
• Knowledge of industry procedures and standards.
• Ability to manage a team and subcontractors.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Proficiency in English enabling fluent communication.
• Preferred technical education in the field of electrical engineering or automation.
Responsibilities:
• Supervision of the correct course of installation and construction works.
• Supervision and support of resources to ensure completion of work according to schedule, budget, and specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Coordination of the team’s work and subcontractors.
• Monitoring work progress and reporting to project management.
• Resolving technical and operational problems.
• Multidisciplinary coordination between company departments and constant contact with the client, acting as an intermediary between subcontractors if necessary.
