In connection with the growth of our Construction structures, we are seeking those interested in their career development in the position of:
Electrical & Instrument Supervisor
Location: Nysa (On Site)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the assigned scope of work at the Construction Site
- Monitors the activities and ensures compliance with project quality, safety, and security requirements
- Provides first line coordination and compliance with site HSE program Coordinates the activities of contractors performing work within a discipline
- Reports to the Construction Manager and or Lead Electrical on a daily basis
- Ensures the contractor is working with up to date IFC Drawings
- Performs work in conformance with programs, plans, specifications, schedules.
- Ensures that all changes have been approved by Fluor / Umicore before being carried out.
- Manages the contractual commitments of contractors, quality, and schedule and coordinates their field activities.
- Assists/reports to Quality Manager and informs of any possible back charges from the contractors/suppliers/vendors due to late delivery/poor quality etc.
- Schedules tests to be undertaken at the various hold points; witnesses such tests in accordance with the contractor’s quality inspection and test plan
- Verifies contractor’s compliance with red line mark ups and or “As Built’ requirements
- Verification of punch lists progress on a daily or weekly basis to support Mechanical Completion and Pre-commissioning and Turn-Over Manager
- Support quality manager with non-conformities maintenance
- Verifies that required inspections, examinations, and tests of systems, subsystems or components have been performed and results properly documented
- Witnesses all testing of cables / components and any other relevant equipment
- Participate in Quality inspection - verify results
- Participate in inspection required by Polish Building Law
Basic Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Discipline
- Experienced in MV and HV
- If he had been a Senior Authorised Person in Poland this would be an advantage.
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Willingness to long term assignment in Nysa
- Extensive management and leadership experience
- QA/ QC inspection and engineering
- Quality expertise
- Implementing structure and quality improvement programs
