Mechanical & Piping Supervisor

Location: Nysa, Poland (on-site)
Start date: April 2025
Contract: B2B (Polish terms)


RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Ensures that daily and weekly short-range planning is maintained and monitors the activities and ensures compliance with project safety, quality and security requirements.
 
  • Organize, coordinate and supervise construction activities in accordance with construction schedules, monitor and review to complete the works on time and within budget. Performs work in conformance with programs, plans, specifications, schedules, and cost control estimates.
 
  • Coordinates the timely issue of work permits. Review contractors task/risk analysis for critical activities.
 
  • Plans required work activities to ensure that design drawings, tools, equipment, and materials are available.
 
  • Controls change/scope creep, ensuring that all scope changes are quickly and properly documented, and that change orders are approved prior to the performance of work.
 
  • Coordinates with other discipline Construction supervisors’/superintendents/ Client inspectors.
 
  • Witness testing activities in accordance with the contractor’s quality inspection, test plan and maintain a file of inspection, examination and test documents.
 
  • Report to client Senior Construction Supervisor on main issues, events at the site, progress reporting, trends and recommendation for improvement.
 
  • Statuses punch list progress on a daily or weekly basis to support mechanical completion activities / Statuses punch list progress on a daily or weekly basis to support mechanical completion activities and handle all aspects of Mechanical Construction activities including site investigations, site surveys and Work closely with other client Construction Supervisors (Elect./ Arch./ Instrument.)
 
  • Maintain log of Isometric been installed and ensure contractor’s compliance with ‘as built’ requirements / Maintain log of the equipment been installed and ensure contractor’s compliance with ‘as built’ requirements and ensure mechanical equipment are being handled according to the vendor requirements with certified lifting equipment and lifting tools.

  • Handle all aspects of Mechanical Construction activities including site investigations, site surveys and Work closely with other client Construction Supervisors (Elect, Arch, Instrument) / Follow the installation of static and rotating equipment and the erection activities ensuring the equipment are installed according to the project specifications and EU / PL norms.
 
  • Manage the completion of all required deliverables including scope of work write-ups, isometrics, piping plans, tie-in lists, construction photos, and bills of materials / Ensure that the Contractors follow preservation activities as indicated in the vendor documentations.

REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in EPC projects, supervising building installations (preferably industrial projects – data centers, pharma, production warehouses).
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to long term assignment in Nysa, Poland.
  • Extensive management and leadership experience.
