Field Compliance Coordinator

The Field Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for the company safety, environmental, and operational excellence management systems. This role will coach and mentor other safety/compliance staff within the team, as well as be knowledgeable on company compliance standards, best practice and industry standards that relate to the department’s operation.
Job Duties:

• Point of contact for matters relating to safety, loss prevention, environment, occupational health, compliance and operational excellence
• Advise and consult in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards and practices to other staff members
• Conduct on-site inspections to audit physical conditions after identifying and evaluating hazardous conditions in the workplace
• Counsel concerning compliance with corporate safety regulation and procedures

Qualifications:

• Degree in Health and Safety, an environmental discipline, and/or another engineering discipline
• 8+ years of experience in EHS within an oil and gas environment
• Have the leadership skills to perform construction site and/or area safety inspections of department facilities and operations
• Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written to prepare written reports and recommendations
