We are currently recruiting for a major EPC contractor in the Oil & Gas industry. They have an urgent requirement for a Pipeline Flow Assurance Engineer to be based in their head offices in Hampshire.

This is a contract position, 12 months in duration working on a major Oil & Gas development project
Candidates will be able to:
Perform and check pipeline flow assurance design (multiphase and single phase hydrocarbons and chemicals transportation) for onshore and offshore.
Perform and check pipeline operability / surge design (multiphase and single phase hydrocarbons and chemicals transportation).
Perform all or some of the following: organize/plan jobs, write/review hydraulic reports, write / review operational manuals, specify surge mitigation equipment, test and benchmark hydraulic software, work with project/client/field.
Utilize vendor data and work with personnel from other disciplines as required for the performance of designs
Key interfaces will be with other project team members, Clients, Vendors, Sub-contractors.

Basic Job Requirements:
Indepth industry specific experience is required for this position.
University Degree in Chemical Engineering (BSc, BS, or MSc, but first degree must be in Engineering), Upper 2nd or higher grade.
Analytical and Analysis Software interest and capability (eg. Pipesim, Pipephase, OLGA, Stoner, AFT Fathom, Pipeline Studio)
Professional registration and membership in external technical institute (eg IMechE, ICE, IChemE)
Good, established experience in pipeline flow assurance engineer role in oil and gas environment.
Other Job Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of International Pipeline Codes and Standards
Experience in working with large Contracting / Client organization.
Ideal candidate will have detailed usage knowledge of 3 to 4 of the following software (Pipesim NET, Pipephase, OLGA, Stoner, AFT Fathom, Pipeline Studio)
