Job Requirements
• Carry out safe and effective duties for the management and running of the Lincoln Mine Plant Laboratory.
• Undertake sample prep, aqua regia digest and AAS analysis of the daily plant production samples.
• Accurate and timely reporting of laboratory data and other information.
• Assist the Plant Metallurgist in the continuous process improvement tasks and metallurgical accounting.
• Provide coverage for the Plant Metallurgist role while they are on break.
• Reporting all safety and maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Working closely and cooperatively with the laboratory team to ensure safety and operational target are achieved.
• Working cooperatively with personnel in other departments including: Geology, Mining, Maintenance and Metallurgists.
Qualifications:
• Two years minimum prior relevant experience in gold plant laboratory analysis operations or analytical laboratory.
• Experience in gold analytical techniques is preferred but not essential.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Be willing to learn new concepts, work effectively unsupervised and as well as part of a team.
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical and inductions.
• Be willing to relocate to Amador County or similar close location in California.
• Roster - 7 days on, 7 days off 12 hours per day, dayshift only.
