TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Lead Planner role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.
Responsibilities:
- Review delays, suggest recovery alternatives, and present solutions to internal teams and clients.
- Conduct what-if scenarios, advanced schedule analyses, and variance reports.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather input and provide feedback.
- Identify and analyze schedule variances, communicate findings, and propose mitigation plans.
- Ensure schedules meet quality standards and implement necessary improvements.
- Create and maintain integrated EPC schedules.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience, or 15 years if non-degreed.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 v.23.
- Previous experience as a senior scheduler on large EPC or heavy industrial projects.
- Practical experience with automated schedule management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences.
- Experience as a Project Control Team Lead on medium to large projects.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Familiarity with FEED or Pre-FEED phases is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge related to project scheduling.
