"Our international client is looking for a MACHINIST with Offshore Construction experience to join project team Onboard JSD 7000 Vessel based WORLDWIDE."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Execute work tasks by machining as directed by 2nd Engineer, Vessel Equipment Engineer and Welder Foreman.
- Operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, drilling tools, to produce custom objects from steel pieces, according to specified tolerances.
- Where available, operate computer numerical control machining according to his/her own capabilities.
- Execute repairs with regard to mechanical equipment used in the machine shops.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the machine shop.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Diploma qualification / equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience.
- Must have minimum 3 years Machinist (Offshore Construction) experience onboard Vessels.
- Various professional and training certificates
- Work employment certificates
- BOSIET / H2S (Mandatory)
