•Achieve production targets for the plant by:
•Liaising with management in establishing, maintaining and continually improving the overall maintenance system of the plant along with overseeing and coordinating the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems while ensuring ZERO accidents.
•Ensuring plant operates at optimal levels all times and meets statutory requirements
•Support in developing facilities/ improvement projects to achieve current and long term goals of the organization
•Conducting periodic audits and implementing continuous improvement projects
•Maintaining and improving the integrity of production and quality systems through the machines, equipment, processes, and employees that add business value to an organization. The plant's preventive and predictive maintenance programs in order to minimize production loss and unscheduled down time. (TPM)
•Conducting regular inspections and audits for ensuring optimal upkeep of facilities
•Keeping record of equipment failure and providing timely information to management
•Ensuring breakdowns are analyzed and actions are taken at root cause level for eliminating recurrence of problems
•Ensuring vendor maintenance and repair manuals are up to date and in order
•Establishing a good spare part management system
•Reducing the losses and continually upgrading the equipment's for improving availability of equipment
•Reducing Repairs and maintenance expenses
•Achieving timely execution of projects as per planned time frame
•Achieving power cost reduction
•Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements PCB, EB, Explosives
•Ensuring compliance with OSHA and NIOSH standards and regulations
Minimum Qualifications
•Associates degree in engineering. Preferably in Electrical and PLC (Allen Bradley)
•Should have minimum 15 years work experience in maintaining foundry, CNC machine tools and utility equipment
•Ability to deal effectively with statutory authorities.
•Knowledge in TPM
•TPM Certification
•Category I/II Vibration Analyst Certification - Preferred
