Material Specialist

Here is an exciting opportunity with a global leading Oil and Gas client in Saudi Arabia as a Material Specialist! Our client specializes in world-scale, mega projects and offers top compensation rates as well as technical, professional, and industrial development.

The Material Specialist is responsible for providing knowledge and experience for materials on a mega-scale project. The successful individual will also be responsible for coordinating the materials support activities.

Job Duties

-Responsible for supervising project materials activity, as well as providing guidance in the usage of P&SCM materials for the development of the project
-Evaluate procedures to be aligned with company materials control practices
-Assist in the preparation for the mobilization/demobilization of contractor materials
-Provide assistance to the materials teams to provide support with strategic planning

Key Qualifications

-A Bachelor of Arts Business & Management or a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology
-At least 7 years of experience as a Material Specialist, including experience working in project design, and inventory management and control.
