We are seeking an experienced Materials Administrator Lead to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, your responsibilities will include the supervision of on-site materials handling and distribution, with an emphasis on effective purchasing, rigorous inventory management, and prompt delivery. Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee the execution and upkeep of the cycle counting system.
  • Manage the database for both owned and third-party rental equipment assets.
  • Handle the processing of daily Material Receiving Reports (MRRs), Packing Slips, and Over Short & Damaged Reports (OS&Ds).
  • Ensure the maintenance of shipping and receiving logs for all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with site procurement to manage internal documentation and general filing.
  • Monitor the storage and preservation requirements for dangerous goods and maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documents.
  • Maintain and update logs for materials, rental equipment, OS&D, care, preservation, and SDS.
  • Establish and upkeep both electronic and manual filing systems.
  • Conduct ongoing inventory analysis and monitor daily inventory transactions while maintaining the inventory database.

Qualifications: 
 
  • Possessing Journeyman Insulator and/or Journeyman Parts Person qualifications are viewed as significant advantages.
  • Hands-on experience in a related field or office environment is crucial.
  • Capability to follow clear instructions, meet specific timelines, and work independently is needed.
  • Experience in and the ability to work effectively within a diverse workforce is important.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and detail, are essential.
  • Prior experience in a materials handling role with responsibilities spanning the organization, or a readiness to learn, is valued.
  • Understanding of inventory control systems and processes is necessary.
  • Proficiency in computer, organizational, and administrative skills (including MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) is required.
