For our client's renewable project we are currently searching for an MC+ Lead/Engineer. Foreseen duration of this project is long-term (2+ years).

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for all MC+ activities. Coordinate with various teams, including procurement, construction, and quality control.
  2. Materials Management: Oversee the entire materials management process, from procurement to delivery and installation. Ensure timely availability of materials for construction activities.
  3. Inventory Control: Implement efficient inventory control practices, minimizing excess stock while maintaining adequate reserves.
  4. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, monitor performance, and resolve any issues related to materials supply.
  5. Quality Assurance: Work closely with the QC team to ensure that materials meet specified standards and comply with project requirements.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material transactions, certifications, and inspections.
  7. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks related to materials availability, quality, or cost. Develop mitigation strategies.
  8. Change Management: Handle any changes to materials specifications or quantities during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, preferably in refinery or petrochemical projects.
    • Familiarity with MC+ software.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Knowledge of industry standards.
