"TRS has an urgent international opportunity for a MECHANICAL ADVISOR to provide expert and specialist advise of mechanical equipment and be responsible for developing technical requirements, specification and services relating to mechanical equipment for the JUMANJI Project, this role will be based in MALABO, EQUATORIAL GUINEA."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for developing technical requirements, specification and services relating to mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, process columns, heat exchangers, storage tanks, spheres, boilers and static packaged units.
- Duties include preparation of datasheets, Specifications, Material Requisition, Evaluation of Technical Bid, Vendor document review and engineering coordination with vendors and inter discipline.
- Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
- Perform Man-hour estimate, Develop MPP, Progress reporting, implement catchup plan, Represent advocate and negotiate for Company with clients and contractors.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Mechanical Engineering Degree.
- Ten (10) years’ progressive experience (Shall work as a lead for medium / large projects), specifically in Static and Fired equipment division.
- Shall have Working knowledge of current ASME, TEMA, API, EN standards for static equipment.
- Exposure to FEA, NDE, Testing, Welding, heat treatment, Painting Insulation requirements are essential.
