Location - Dublin
The role
My client a major player in the construction services sector is looking for a Mechanical/Electrical Project Manager to take responsibility of numerous projects within the mechanical business unit. The focus of these project will be around the construction of Mechanical Piping and HVAC assets. This is a permanent position covering projects across Ireland.
Responsibilities
Execution of project start-ups managing the handover of projects from the estimating department through to the construction team. Validate project and in doing so develop business plan, cost control system, cash flow and billable schedules, etc.
Production of procurement plans, drawings / design plans, construction programmes, s-curve and histograms.
Management of the project running phase training plan for staff and operatives in conjunction with the Operations Management.
Management of site teams in the effective day to day running of site activities.
Ensure compliance with programme, materials deliveries and engineering, quality and safety issues.

Manage the Project Completion process ensuring testing and commissioning is carried out in accordance with the relevant Quality Plans
Ensure final design audit (if applicable) is carried out by engineering management.
Complete and certify all ‘life systems’ in good time for handover date
Ensure all systems are demonstrated to Client and District Surveyor
Handover O&M manual and record drawings
Key Skills Required
Building Services Engineer / Mechanical Engineer or Senior Trades qualification or equivalent
Significant Project management experience 10 years+.
Previous record of delivering small to medium mechanical pharmaceutical projects
Pre-commissioning & system turnover experience
Piping/HVAC and building services experience
Commercial Awareness
Experience in Process Piping, BMS Systems, HVAC, Clean & Dirty Utilities Piping, is desirable.
Excellent communicator/strong interpersonal skills/communicates with impact
