Our client is a system integrator of green hydrogen systems. Using the company's electrolysis technology, they design, supply, and maintain systems that enables the clean energy transition. The company (multinational) is the leading provider of clean hydrogen and zero-emission fuel cell solutions that are both cost-effective and reliable.
The EU ambition is to install at least 40 gigawatts (GW) of renewable hydrogen electrolysers by 2030, in order to become climate-neutral by 2050. The company is well positioned to bring a significant contribution to this goal!

The job:
As a Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for the mechanical design of the projects, where you supervise the design an detailing by internal and external parties. For example i.e. steel constructions, civil, piping, vessel, pumps and compressors.
You develop the basic design of the construction and coordinate the detail engineering (calculations and drawings), a considerable part of this will be outsourced.
As a Mechanical Engineer you will coordinate, analyse, check and take responsibility for the mechanical design to meet all of the prescribed criteria. Besides the engineering phase you are also closely involved with the construction phase. You will have an important role starting from the beginning until the end of a project.

You are a curious engineering professional who wants to contribute to the further development of the company. You are self-driven, intrinsically motivated and committed to enable to clean energy transition. And finally, you are open to learn and aspire a career in renewable energy. More specifically, you have:
• Bachelor with 5 years, or master’s degree with 3 years of experience in relevant field.
• Ability to engage with various other engineering disciplines.
• Expert knowledge about design codes & standards.
• A good command of the English language (verbal and written). Knowledge of the Dutch language is a big plus.
• You are already eligible to work in The Netherlands (EU Passport).
