Here is an exciting opportunity to join an Engineering Consultancy in Calgary as a Mechanical Engineer! You would be working within a growing team with projects worldwide. The successful candidate for this role will be working within the energy and petrochemical sectors establishing a course of action within limits of company practices and guidelines for all related project activities.
Job Duties:
- Execute mechanical engineering deliverables while communicating project deliverables and expectations to the project/ design team.
- Define scope requirements within the mechanical discipline including schedules and man-hour estimates.
- Prepare specifications for mechanical equipment in alignment with company and industry standards.
Execute mechanical calculations for materials, pipeline and equipment as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required
- Professional Engineer Certification, P. Eng is required
- 5-10 years of experience in a related role
- Experience in the Energy and Petrochemical industries is preferred; experience on brown field and green field projects is preferred
