Here is an exciting opportunity to join an industrial services company in Kitimat, BC as a Painting Supervisor! As a Painting Supervisor, your role involves overseeing painting projects from start to finish. You’ll manage teams of painters, ensuring quality work and meeting project deadlines.
Job Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of painters, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Oversee painting projects, including planning, organizing, and scheduling tasks for timely completion.
- Ensure all painting work meets industry standards and client expectations in terms of craftsmanship, finish, and overall quality.
- Coordinate and allocate resources (manpower, equipment, materials) to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Regularly inspect work to identify issues or maintenance requirements and take prompt actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for painting teams.
- NACE CIP Level 2 or higher desired.
- Standard safety courses (CSTS-20, LSE, H2S Alive, WHMIS15).
- Site-based experience in maintenance or construction.
- Understanding of trades and disciplines involved in site operations.
- Effective written communication for work reports and job instructions.
- Supervisory experience with crews of up to 15 people.
