PLANT AUTOMATION & PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER - Candidates must be committed to relocate within small towns of Southeastern BC. Relocation is provided.
This plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of industrial processes.
Qualifications:
• Electrical or Control Systems Engineering Background.
• Professional Engineering designation or eligible for P. Eng in Canada within 3-6 months.
• At least 5 years of experience in process control design and automation systems to achieve desired process outcomes; implementing and optimizing control systems to monitor and regulate industrial processes.
• Must have experience in industrial process environment (pulp & paper, mineral processing, heavy industry, etc.), plant maintenance, analyzing process data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers, plant operators, maintenance personnel, and management, to troubleshoot issues, optimize process performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
