Our Client, a globally leading EPC company, are seeking an experienced Preservation and Maintenance coordinator to join their team in Denmark, on a $1.6 billion pharmaceutical construction project.

The Preservation and Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and implementing strategies to preserve the structural integrity and functional capabilities of engineering assets. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, maintenance practices, and a commitment to ensuring the long-term viability of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Assessment: Conduct regular inspections of engineering assets to identify potential deterioration, damage, or threats.
  • Preservation Planning: Develop and implement preservation plans, including preventive maintenance schedules, condition assessments, and emergency response procedures.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the preservation and maintenance budget, allocating resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and asset owners, to achieve preservation goals.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of preservation and maintenance activities, including condition assessments, repair work, and project outcomes.
  • Research: Stay informed about the latest engineering techniques, technologies, and best practices.
 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in preservation and maintenance management of engineering assets.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
