Job Title: Procurement Manager
Industry Type: Design and Technology Supplier for Iron Making
Job Type: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
Job Location: Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar
Education Qualification:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
- Knowledge in Supply Chain Management
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and ERP systems
Experience:
- 10-15 years in Procurement or Purchase
Languages:
- English and Hindi (Multilingual preferred)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management: Responsible for procuring Mechanical & Instrumentation items from both Indian and global markets for various project sites in India.
- Coordination: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of tasks set by the Project team, from order placement to delivery and closure.
- RFQ and Purchase Orders: Send out RFQs, evaluate offers, issue purchase orders, and confirm orders with suppliers.
- Cost Management: Manage freight forwarders and consistently reduce procurement costs.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies.
- Negotiation and Delivery: Procure materials at negotiated prices and ensure timely delivery to sites within contract timelines.
- Communication: Maintain strong communication with relevant departments to align delivery schedules.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare comparative cost estimations based on collected proposals.
- Documentation: Maintain supplier databases, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured items meet required quality standards and specifications.
- Metrics Tracking: Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Vendor Development: Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
- Travel: Willingness to travel if required.
