We are TRS Staffing Solutions, an international project sourcing agency and part of Fluor Corporation. We specialize in supporting the oil, gas, energy, chemical, industrial construction, and life sciences sectors.
For our external client we are currently recruiting an experienced Project Controller to join the team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong project management and financial control skills.
Responsibilities:

Advise the Project Manager on project planning, costs, and performance.

Collaborate with the project team to establish the validated Baseline for scope, time, and costs, and define a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with the Project Manager:

Determine the contractual deliverables (SCOPE) with the project team.

Create a schedule based on the WBS, understanding and aligning what, where, and when activities are performed (TIME).

Cost load the WBS into the planning tool (COST).

Prepare regular progress reports for internal and external use.

Evaluate project performance, e.g., calculate Earned Value, create scenario models, and perform risk analysis.

Advise the project and contract team on realized or potential risks and report changes compared to the validated Baseline (scope/time/budget).

Monitor project schedules and budgets, identify risks, and consider and report on mitigation and/or improvement proposals. In case of delays, be capable of making the correct delay assessment.
Requirements:

Relevant experience in Cost Control or Project Planning.

Master's degree, preferably in a financial, engineering, or construction field.

Knowledge of English, Dutch is a plus.

Strong interest in the construction and contracting industry.

Excellent knowledge of Excel and Primavera P6.

Knowledge of planning software (e.g., the newest version of Primavera Software or MS Project) is a must.
