Project Controls Specialist

TRS is seeking a Project Controls Specialist in Austin, TX with an established global EPC company. Our client’s success reflects their 100% commitment to innovation and creativity in solving complex engineering challenges. They are looking for like-minded people to work on an infrastructure project in the greater Austin area.

Specific knowledge or skills – Must have specific knowledge in developing and monitoring project metrics (trend charts, equipment variance reports, change management, etc.) analyzing cost reports, including period/JTD quantities, period/JTD actual costs, budget values, EAC values, percent complete, JTD unit rates compared to EAC unit rates and potential deviations necessitating future EAC Adjustments. Knowledge of tracking and reviewing manhours and quantities in HCSS HeavyJob preferred. Needs to possess skills in Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6 and HCSS HeavyJob.

DETAILS:

Oversee look-ahead schedule for weekly planning meeting.
Provide CPM update information.
Responsible for accurate cost accumulation & forecast.
Responsible for accurate quantity tracking and package take-off.
Provide field supervision with budgetary information.
Provide production studies and cost reports to supervisors
