Project Engineer

In this role, the successful candidate will report to the Pre-Construction Works Manager and contribute to the organization’s senior management team and the engineering team throughout the project stages. The Project Engineer will manage and ensure that daily field activities follow high safety standards.

Key Job Responsibilities
• Ensure that the project remains in compliance with the organization’s environmental, health and safety standards by creating plans and conducting evaluations.
• Provide support to the Quality Assurance/Control teams and to the areas that create documentation for technical evaluations and bidding.
• Manage scope changes and several types of field queries.
• Organize invoices for the scope of work designated to contractors

Key Qualifications
• 3+ years’ experience in engineering, Oil & Gas, or in the industrial construction industry
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and experience working as a field project engineer
• P.Eng (A Professional Engineer) accreditation
• Comfortable working in shifts that may require overtime, weekends or become split shifts.
