Project Quality Assurance Engineer / Specialist

TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Project Quality Assurance Engineer/Specialist role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Oversee all Project Quality Assurance activities, including planning, assurance, and improvement.
• Implement the Project Quality Plan, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Lead project audits and develop audit strategies.
• Interface with client quality representatives and auditors.
• Monitor Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs) and provide status reports.
• Coordinate Continuous Productivity Improvement (CPI) activities.
• Issue audit reports and ensure timely close-out of corrective actions.
• Support project staff with technical expertise and lessons learned.
• Conduct surveillance and spot checks of deliverables.
• Recommend and implement process improvements using predictive analytics.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
• Minimum of five years of related quality/project experience.
• Internal Lead Auditor certification required; external Auditor certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Project Activity Models (PAM).
• Familiarity with OSR and OSIP checklists.
• Proficiency in developing and tracking QPIs and CPI metrics.
• Ability to use predictive analytics in quality processes (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, and Commissioning).
