SUMMARY:
We are delighted to work with a leading construction company who has an exciting opportunity for a talented purchasing expediter. This is a dynamic role with growth opportunity.
• Part-Time
• Temporary Position
• On Site
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparing new vendor paperwork
• Assist Materials Management operations with the return of goods to vendor
• Compile material requests and prepare purchase orders
• Assist with updating purchase orders or issuing change orders on an as needed basis
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm material has been delivered and/or expedite deliveries.
• Provide administrative support where needed
• Track status of Requisitions
• Data input
REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies, and industry specific software
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
BENEFITS DESCRIPTION:
$22.00-$24.00 per hour for approximately 5 hours a day, Monday-Friday. This is a temporary position and will last for approximately 6 months.
LOCATION: DFW
To be considered for this job you must be permitted to work in the US, have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
