For an external client, we are looking for a detailed and experienced QC Visual Welding Inspector.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of welding work, identify any issues, and make necessary adjustments to ensure high standards.
- Perform detailed visual inspections and precise measurements using specialized welding-related equipment.
- Compile and report errors and collaborate with production management to implement improvements.
- Stay up-to-date and suggest innovative trends that can be integrated into our processes.
- Monitor trends and repetitive issues and conduct checks on defect rates to maintain quality.
- Accurately complete reports and ensure diligent follow-up on all inspections.
- Evaluate the welding process at various stages and provide constructive feedback to welders.
- Ensure error-free production by correctly applying revisions of drawings and procedures.
- Actively participate in the production team, offering your QC expertise and mentoring new welders.
Requirements:
- You possess a technical degree with several years of practical experience. Experience as a welder is highly valued.
- You demonstrate a strong understanding of welding techniques, quality systems, and measurement and control techniques.
- You have good knowledge of English (Dutch is a plus).
- You have a keen eye for detail, recognize welding symbols, and prioritize safety in all tasks.
- You are capable of interpreting technical documents and comprehending plans and symbols.
- You always maintain a high regard for safe working practices.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You are proactive and assertive.
