Quarry Foreman

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Oversee planning and coordinating of daily mining activities
• Manage daily activity to meet production requirements
• Manage workforce
• Oversea repairs and maintenance work
• Demonstrate and lead safety culture and training
• Adjust equipment such as screens, crushers and conveyors to control or vary size of product and/or to maintain uniform flow of materials
• Order all raw materials and maintain inventories
• Perform daily plant inspection and maintenance oversight
• Observe environmental factors to ensure environmental compliance
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
• Comply with OSHA and MSHA standards
Qualification/requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years’ Supervisory experience in a quarry
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders to work in overhead positions requiring harness and safety line
• Mechanical aptitude to use tools for repairs and maintenance
• Clean driving record
• Team player and able to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
• Available to be on call for Emergencies on the weekend and flexible to work overtime as required
