JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to generate, engineer and commission C&I projects in line with customer expectations and specifications.
- Provide continuous support to customers and exude understanding on client products.
- Execute preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance work on client control systems.
- Execute instrumentation service tasks such as calibration during plant outages.
- Responsible for not exceeding costs for C&I projects during engineering/execution.
- Liaises with other engineering personnel and disciplines to ensure that overall objectives for each project is achieved.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Experience in Controls and Instrumentation in general.
- Experience in 800xA (operation, configuration and maintenance) for at least 4 years.
- Experience in Symphony Melody or equivalent control systems for at least 4 years.
- Experience in Power Generation/Water for at least 5 years.
- Specific Skill –Control Systems:
- Instrumentation (transmitters, control valves and actuators, analyzers, metering, etc.)
- Automation systems
- Vibration monitoring (Bentley Navada)
- Local and international standards
