DUTIES:
• Manage, coordinate, and administer a project(s) from the conceptual design stage through planning, estimating, design/engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, and contract close-out.
• Provide leadership in managing contracts including maintenance of schedules and milestones, coordinating the participation of responsible entities and defining major task areas.
• Supervise the development of budgets and schedules, monitor progress, and initiate action to ensure project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experienced managing capital projects at least $30+ Million
• Thorough understanding of the scope of work covered by the prime contract.
• Has demonstrated knowledge of construction, design engineering and procurement, and other project-related activities, including their interfaces and interdependencies.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of the scope of work, including construction, design engineering, procurement, project controls, and financial phases, including their interfaces and interdependencies. Knowledge of financial reporting, performance metric management, and profit & loss (P&L) management.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills to include oversight and coordination of large technical and labor teams
• Experience working with union craft labor/building trades is a plus
• Design-build and/or design bid build experience preferred
• Experience in all phases of building construction
• Needs to be able to pass a security screening and drug screens
• Demonstrated ability to manage very difficult and complex projects and to take collective action, monitor work, manage conflict, and coordinate the activities of others.
